GEORGIA
Huge win in our fight to block a new hand-counting rule
In a HUGE win for Georgian voters, a judge officially and permanently BLOCKED Georgia's new anti-voter rule that would've required poll workers to hand-count ballots. Such last minute attempts at mass disenfranchisement not only risk silencing voices but undermine trust in the electoral process. ACLU National and the ACLU of Nevada intervened as defendants in the suits to protect the voting rights of tens of thousands of Nevadans ahead of the November 2024 general election. Read more.
