Most Trump voters explain their preferences by listing personal benefits such as lowered taxes or lowered grocery store prices. Immigration issues and border security are also often referenced. Unfortunately, no Harris / Trump debate took place that was focused on foreign policy issues. That is an area where the differences between the two candidates are both consequential and frightening.
Following a Trump victory, these events are highly likely to occur:
1. Immediate end to all US military & economic support to Ukraine. America First.
2. Ukraine resistance crumbles following Russian destruction of Kiev.
3. China threatens, then encircles Taiwan. Taiwan capitulates. Trump approves.
4. Kim Jun Un intimidates both Japan and South Korea. Trump does nothing.
5. Trump withdraws from NATO citing lack of contributions from Europe.
6. Putin begins moving military assets from Ukraine to his next European target, rebuilding his stockpiles of glide bombs, drones, hypersonic missiles, tanks & artillery.
Lastly, Russia & Iran will join forces to destroy Israel. This could be the tipping point igniting WW III.
But — in the short term, the price of eggs may fall by 35 cents. Apparently, that’s all we care about.
The rest of the world can go to hell. Without Harris in the White House — it most certainly will.
