I just got polled

First time in my life  —  I am 78 and have been a registered voter since I was 21 (no 26th Amendment when I was young).  I have been registered and voted in NY, PA, and VA.

I was contacted via cell phone.  I am registered currently in a suburb of Philadelphia, in Delaware County,

The poll was conducted online by NORC on behalf of the Associated Press.

I completed the poll in about 5 minutes while listening on my computer to Harris speaking in Reno.

Have no idea when poll will be published, and whether it is of just PA, just battlegrounds, or national.  I guess I will know if and when it gets released.

Don’t worry —  strong supporter of Harris.

There were questions on education, marital status, party identification, family income, whether or not we own or rent or …  (and this was hard because in a LifeCare community we have rights of residence that was purchased and we pay a monthly fee, but strictly speaking we neither rent nor own, although I listed us as renting), veteran status (I am, USMC), whether or not we were gun owners, and then a lot of questions on issues. Asked about intent of voting (I already voted) and then who we were or had voted for for President, Senate, and Congress, and how we voted in 2020 if we voted then (I did for Biden while I lived in VA).

So that is my political participation today.
