Don't let pistol packers intimidate voters!

Voter intimidation will dominate at the the polls this year.

I read a story about claims of pistol-packing vote ‘challengers’ this election season. I called for a nationwide ban on guns at the polls, and I am sure I was not the only one.

BeCUZ People created a petition to the US congress, and I signed on. Won’t you do the same?

Furthermore, I suggest that people learn where to report gun-toters at the polls. What is your PD or sheriff’s 911 or emergency number?

Voter intimidation has a long history. As you may know, future Chief Justice Rehnquist (1971-2005) got his political start by being a ‘vote challenger’ in Arizona.  A vote challenger’s job is to intimidate anyone who is not white Anglo-Saxon and keep them away from the poll. Arizona is home to

In Arizona in 1970, Hispanics counted at 306,000. That’s enough to throw the vote in a tiny state.
