Brief story: I have been working on this project for a couple of days. Many of the characters have a title attached, the first time they are mentioned, e.g. “VP Mike Pence’s chief of staff” or “the defendant’s son-in-law — so a quick search brings up the name, if it’s not obvious. Others are mentioned in Trump or other tweets that can be found fairly easily online. My work started going more quickly yesterday when I was able to OCR-convert the posted PDF’s of Jack Smith’s Filing (JSF) so I can search for “CC2” and “P5” etc. I had hoped to finish my list, and post it, by Sunday.
Today (late Friday) I had made it about two-thirds of the way through, with about 20% gaps, when I stumbled upon this page from Just Security, just posted earlier today:

They beat me to it! I used the page to fill in my blanks and finish the list off. I have double-checked with my own searching as much as possible. I will continue to double-check, and probably update tomorrow, to fix any errors and add any additional information.
Purpose: the reason I wanted to create list is not just so I/we can understand Jack Smith’s filing more completely. I am hoping that the list will provide some fodder for other Kossacks to write journals focusing on their favorite villains, or groups of villains. I don’t want the Jack Smith filing to “have been” an early October surprise and get forgotten. I would love to see a new Daily Kos diary every two or three days, reminding everyone that Trump was and is a criminal, and had a lot of help in his criminal activity.
