Welcome to topsy-turvy land, where a convicted sex abuser (with witnesses testifying under threat of perjury) becomes President, where the voice of victims of racism, the prison system’s brutality, police brutality and sexual abuse are silenced and slandered… and the rich make record profits, including those profiting off the suffering of those in immigration detention facilities and prisons, locking up folks for marijuana, making a killing of Trump and (according to OpenSecrets’ website) donate and lobby to Republicans and Trump in particular extensively. They’ll get their tough on crime policies, and maybe Trump can even bring back stop-and-frisk and police immunity as he has promised. Racism and policies of exclusion and ignoring injustice and suffering is well and alive in America. GEO Group has been sued extensively by immigrants for their human rights abuses. The sun turns orange when it sets, and fascism and systems of control and confinement are on the rise in America.

Texas pardoned a cop killed for murdering a BLM protestor in cold blood (a veteran who was protesting injustice). A jury had sentenced that man to 25 years in prison for murder. This is the Republicans' approach to double standards and justice. Oh, and Kyle Rittenhouse is just such a great person.
