Has been especially good week, yesterday being my favorite, it was Turkey Day. However, first:
A gentle reminder of how we do things: 🐱🐶🐦
- Do not troll the diary. If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul.
- Please do share pics of your fur kids! If you have health/behavior issues with your pets, feel free to bring it to the community.
- Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Birds... are birds! Peeps are people.
- Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. If you’re having “issues” with another Kossack, keep it “out there.” This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly.
- There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, please remember that we do have phobic peeps who react strongly to them. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paws.
Oh yes a good week for me, colder now so hoomin gave me my favorite blanket, guess it’s really a fleece sweatshirt, so glad since I haven’t had it for a long, long, time; its my favorite and right next to my favorite piece of cardboard.
Then Mom had to go out on the Wednesday before Turkey Day when her groceries were scheduled for pick up — suddenly Mom says will you look at that? A flock of 10 turkeys came foraging through the neighborhood, a timely reminder? So thanks guys says Mom.
Next day Mom was working at the stove, something she seldom does, sayin it’s Thanksgiving Day—Turkey Day for you my little lass. Turkey Mom, turkey, oh my favorite. But first mom had to set the trash out for pickup Friday, it was pretty cold so hoomin put on her old green work coat; she had to put out many bags and containers of yard waste.
Then being so cold Mom put out the heated bird bath so the outside creatures would have fresh water, saying she hopes the birds and other creatures would find it.
Then later the house began to fill, ever so slightly at first, with the wonderful aroma of turkey, soon Mom soon? Yes, my little lass, soon.
So later in the afternoon after Mom finished her outside work and finished at the stove, finally turkey.
At first Mom was disappointed as I walked away since I don’t like hot or warm turkey, but later when it was cold I gobbled it down like there was no tomorrow. But I hope there is some for tomorrow — Mom promised there would be.
What a great week for me, thanks Mom.
And oh yes, the heated bird bath had many feathered visitors Friday morning.
