I was just running through some news feeds this morning and stumbled across this tidbit. The Biden NLRB had increased the threshold that determined overtime pay for salaried workers. The previous threshold, set by the twittiot’s first administration, was $35,568. It was raised to $43,888 and was set to rise to $58,656 shortly after the first of the year. Now Texas voters went for the twittiot or fringe party 57.6%. This is a decisive victory and now they and the good people of Texas will pay for it. A twittiot appointed judge overturned Biden’s NLRB ruling and rolled the threshold back to $35,586 Approximately 4,000,000 salaried employees will be affected. Of these four million, based on the actual voting split (not a pinpointed survey), 2,304,000 Texas employees will be getting exactly what they voted for. Add this to the studies that show the Bakken and Eagle Ford shale regions have about one to three years of affordable production left, the Permian is looking like it might go another five to six, and Texas will be joining a lot of other busted states who lost their primary industries and yet voted for the twittiot. To quote a Texas native, “You can’t fix stupid”.
