Aleppo Being Overrun, Asaad Regime in Rout

Not much in trad media but there is a web site that covers most all news via by everyone who wants to post.. Mostly showing videos of various squares, roundabouts, prisons, etc as they are overrun.

Asaad is for sure a butcher, and more importantly an ally of Russia and Iran. The flip side is that many of the opposition though aligned with Turkey and many gulf states might also be remnants or affiliated with ISIS.

Update Saturday Morning, reading the “latest” listing on Twitter is purposefully confusing as every faction tries to spin, much of it in languages I don’t bother to use the translate button on. Despite that…

It appears the airport is now under someone’s control, the Kurds maybe who are part of the whole mix of forces now in Aleppo. The city itself no longer sounds contested in any portion and they announce towns that have fallen east of the city, and that the strategic road route 5 has been taken over, the main road to Damascus I guess. 

Asaad supposedly still in Russia…

Highest ranking Iranian killed.

No “western” reporters anywhere, probably an unhealthy environment give so many ISIS in the mix. Speaking of which Aleppo has a large Christian population of various flavors. Thousands. Also Kurds. Interesting to see if the opposition can command civility in areas under it’s control
