I’m very disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of my colleagues in the news media who give Trump a pass on every controversial remark, and ignore his purposefully misleading statements.
Continuing to placate his extremist right-wing movement, they flock to him in a sycophantic reverie every time he makes himself available to their cameras and microphones. Especially inside of the insular Capitol Beltway, the main concern of the press is their self-serving mission to gain access to celebrity, wealth and power.
Accountability?
Well, that’s nearly non-existent!
In contrast, my interview with Donald Trump would go something like this:
MTC "Why are you still denying that you lost the election when everyone knows Joe Biden won?"
DT "Well, there were a lot of shenanigans going on that people don't know about. It was very fishy..."
MTC "What are those specific 'shenanigans'?"
DT "We're still looking into that. We'll be releasing something soon."
MTC "On what date will you release that information?"
DT 'I'm not really sure yet but it's a very bad situation, I can tell you that. Very bad..."
MTC "Since you have no evidence to present, I will continue to report that you lost the election backed up by my sources (Homeland Security and the FBI) who report that it was the most secure election in history."
DT "They are very corrupt, those guys. A bunch of liars. All of them should be locked up. I'll fire them all when I become President again. I know more about corruption than anybody!"
MTC "Yes, sir, I'd have to agree with you on that one point."
DT "They're still eating dogs, by the way. Up there in Springfield people are losing their cats too. It's deplorable. A deplorable situation. And it's all the Democrat's fault for letting people into the country who are taking over cities, taking over buildings and violently moving in to kill your cats."
"It's got to stop, and I'll tell you this - When I'm Dicta... uh, I mean when I'm President we'll make america great again! Right now it's a mess - a terrible, terrible mess. I don't see how we're going to continue as a nation through the end of the year with these guys in charge. The country's going to fall apart completely because of Harris and Biden. They are killing the USA and we’ve got to stop them before it’s too late. They are the worst thing that has ever happened to this country.”
MTC “What exactly have they done to damage the nation? Can you be specific with your allegations?”
DT “ Everyone knows that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are Marxist Socialists who want to make taxpayers cover the cost of sex change operations for prisoners and they will take away all of your guns and force everyone to follow the 'woke' thing, which is very bad for America - very bad…
America is going down the drain. The whole thing is broken and I’m the only one who can fix it."
MTC "Your statements about Harris and Walz are false. They are pro-corporate free market neoliberals. They have never quoted Karl Marx. And you should be informed that there are actually three 'Americas'.
DT "Huh? I'm not following you... What do you mean? There’s only one United States of America!"
MTC “There are three 'Americas' - North, Central and South."
DT "Oh ya, I'm aware of that but this is the REAL America! We stand for business and freedom and low taxes. Everyone loves us. And they love me too. Down there in Central and South America they love me. Except in Haiti and Guatemala where the Communists have taken over completely. It’s a very bad situation down there in those places. But everywhere else they all love me. Every single polls shows that I am the most popular man on the planet."
MTC "I must inform you that REAL journalists ignore liars and refuse to give them more opportunities to spread their disinformation.
There is no evidence to support any of your false claims.
Therefore, I must conclude that your statements are not credible and you are not a trustworthy source of information.
As a professional journalist, my reputation is very important to me. it's my 'stock and trade' so to speak. So if my sources are not credible, then neither am I and my reputation suffers.
For that reason, I am ending this interview."
DT "You and your organization are the worst ever in the history of news! Nobody watches you. You're a bunch of losers who should be locked up. When I'm President again I'll eat guys like you for breakfast. You don't even know how hard it's going to be for people like you and CNN and MSNBC when I'm in the White House again!"
