Good morning! Today is the twenty-third Tuesday that Donald Trump has been a convicted felon.

It’s now 22 days until Trump’s re-re-scheduled sentencing.

And 46 days until the government next runs out of funding.

And it’s ”Election Day.” Did you know that?

This is it! Today’s the day that “early voting” means casting your ballot before McDonald’s stops serving Egg McMuffins.

Although that is not chiefly what the day is known for, I have to admit.

Hopefully you’ve all voted by now. And you’re listening to the show (or to the podcast) while you’re volunteering to help GOTV, handing out literature, or driving people to the polls.

Or, you know, maybe you’re Canadian or something.

Anyway, whatever you’re doing, we’ll keep you company to start off the day. After all, even Canadians are probably going to spend the day refreshing websites and pacing the floors. Might as well do it together.
