1. As the oldest president in history, Biden promised he would run for only one term. At the appropriate time his team needed to pull him aside and say, Sir I'm sorry to have to break it to you, but to keep your promise to the American people we need to do a primary.
This way we could have had a candidate, though I love Kamala, who the rest of the 'bro' Democrats and the independents could have gotten behind. Sadly Americans just aren't there yet for a mixed race woman with a high voice as president.
Also, again no fault to Kamala whatsoever, we could have chosen a candidate who was distinct from the Biden Harris administration. Which should have been obvious that many people wanted a change, even if it was change back to something that we already knew was terrible. They didn't want more of what it is already.
2. Once Kamala came out as the candidate, again I love her so much,.. She was out there talking about joy, and what's weird. When the people that she needed to vote for her to win wanted an angry tiger, she was over here looking like a sweet little butterfly. Clearly the people who voted for Trump don't care about joyful vibes and warmth of character.
3. Had she gone on to The Joe Rogan show, instead of SNL, perhaps those angry tiger seeking, disgruntled, stand on the fence independents would have had an apples to apples comparison of her.
People were repeatedly telling her she's too sparse on actual plans, and too heavy on vibes. And Joe Rogan would have brought out the actual plans from her. She could really spell it out with him. But instead she went with vibes and did a cute little show SNL, which is basically friendly territory. That was an unforced error.
4. This one has nothing to do with the campaign, but just the difference in people. I read about undecided people who voted for that other man, who were asked what made them decide to get off the couch and come out and vote. And many of them said my friends, girlfriend, family members told me this is the most important vote of our lives, so I decided to come on out just to appease them. And so promptly canceled the votes of the people who are trying to get out the vote for Kamala.
The lesson from this is that if somebody is undecided between a corrupt monster, and a highly qualified competent woman, don't encourage them to come out to vote. Let them stay at home on their couch.
Yeah, so I know this makes no difference to anybody or anything. But I just needed to get it out of my head so I can move on to the inevitable madness that's ahead.
