Hi! It’s Friday once more. And I know we are all angry and worried and stressed out, so I thought I would offer some distractions and small bits of joy today. It’s Thursday as I write this, and I’m in the middle of a fibro flare, so I’m brain fogged and in pain. Days like this, distractions and small bits of joy are all that keep me going. I wanted to share some with you.
This group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Right now of course, my biggest distraction and small bits of joy comes from puppies. I wanted to show you just how much they’ve grown in the past not quite 3 months.
Not safe for work: Funny and true:
This youtuber does red flags and green flags, this video is all green.
Cute, just cute:
Buddy has become my velcro dog and cuddle bug. He’s almost always in arm’s reach, unless he’s
playing with Sunny or the pups. He’s come a long way from the terrified dog we brought home from the pound. He’s come out of his shell and feels comfortable and at home now. He still has some things he’s frightened of, but he’s doing a LOT better than he was. He loves to play with toys, and you can throw a ball to him for him to catch, and he doesn’t run away from it anymore. I can even scold/discipline him now without him cringing away in fear. I’m hoping he continues to feel more secure and explore new things as time goes on, but he’s made amazing progress.
He gets along well with the cats, but he seems to think, when I go to the restroom that they need to be in there with me, so he’ll gently herd them into the room with me to get pets. But at night, they’ll all be in bed together; Buddy, Sophie, Lyta, and Ivanova.
