Cheers everyone. It’s a pleasant 61 here this morning with the same expected through the week.
Given that we don’t have a permanent editor for Tuesdays, I figured we could use the slot as a refresher on some basics of the election process, institutions, and political philosophies. So, for the next few weeks, I’m going to feature a few overall explanations a maybe a couple closer looks.
When the thirteen colonies of North America broke away from Great Britain, they struggled to draft their first constitution. After great debate, they created the Articles of Confederation and formed the United States of America.
