Well unfortunately the site has some technical issues: trying to put an image you uploaded into the library into a comment while using your phone can't be done. So I have to put the image in the diary since it's impossible to put it into the comment even though it's only relevant to the comment but not the diary. Too bad that it can't be just put in the comment.
So here's the image that's only relevant for one comment:

Most people here are, but be aware that you never know what somebody else is going through behind the screen, if they're really sick or anything else is going on. Being nice instead of rude and insulting can make somebody who is facing a lot feel better whereas insulting them and being rude only makes tough times harder. Thanks for all the people out here who show grace and kindness!!!

From a comment on Joe "You Lie" Walsh who went on this same attack, as apparently did Claire McCaskill again.
The fact is that Hunter would never have been prosecuted for this if he were not President Biden's son. The context is that Donald Trump sent Rudy Giuliani and Lev Parnas to try to find dirt on Hunter and Joe Biden. The context is that Donald Trump tried to use the foreign aid passed by Congress as if it were his own personal money in order to pressure President Zelensky to ANNOUNCE (not commence) an investigation into Hunter and Joe Biden that DID NOT EXIST and Donald Trump appointed Weiss to go after Hunter. In light of Trump's immoral, unethical motivations and his bad intentions, then the whole enterprise is morally untenable.
Tim Miller of the Bulwark put out a You Tube podcast saying that President Biden has "destroyed" his "legacy. I have a few words in response as did a huge number of other people.

Tim, I know it's hard for a narcissist like you to comprehend, but when a lot of people disagree with you, it doesn't always show how righteous and pure and brave you are to tell ideologues the truth. Sometimes, gasp, the reason a lot of rational, better educated adults disagree with you is that you're dead wrong. I tried hard, I really did, to continue the subscription despite the dishonesty in trying to attract progressives so you could $hi# on us and then talk about how brave and holy you are for telling people something that they disagreed with. I don't like click-baity tactics. You don't have 1% of the character of Joe Biden. Joe Biden has more character and integrity in his index finger than you do in your whole body. [Think of all] The good that he has done in the world.

Please. Let's be real. You got out because the bigotry against you was going to be worse with Donald Trump. It must have been hard to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community with bigots in your political party wrongly attacking you. But if you weren't gay, would you really be on the pro-democracy side. Republicans only embrace diversity and tolerance when it affects them personally. You didn't want a bigot [in power] whose followers attack members of your marginalized community [Above in italics was edited for clarity] That's rational self-interest. But until Donald Trump, you were following the path that logically led to Donald Trump. Then you got out before you reached the logical conclusion of your beliefs. I'm not quite sure you're the hero you think you are in order to declare that President Biden "destroyed" his legacy. GFY with that. Who the hell do you think you are to talk about the man President Biden is and his legacy like that? You have no idea the amount of good President Biden has done in the world and the man he is and the enormous suffering he has persevered through.
.
.
He's been in office since1972. He has made enormous contributions to my country. When they write about President Biden's legacy with the perspective of time, his good choice to pardon his son might merit a paragraph with historians and ethicists on both sides of the issue disagreeing while looking at the enormous good that he has done as a consequential and very good president in chapters and even books. You MIGHT be a footnote. Check yourself. You assume when people on both sides are telling you that you're full of $hi#, then that means you're virtuous. When nobody likes you, sometimes that's because you're an @$$. Some humility might be in order.

Your voice and message has lost a lot of weight with your subscribers. You can try to restore trust with them by admitting that you grossly, egregiously overreacted even though you disagree. If you had shown that you understood the strong arguments on behalf of doing this, but you disagreed without the over the top hair on fire flame breathing, clickbaity Joe Biden has "destroyed" his "legacy", then there would not be this type of response. You should recognize that you blatantly overreacted and admit that. That doesn't mean that you changed your opinion that it was an ethical lapse or a mistake. You would still be wrong, but it would be a rational error. By going so over the top, you lost credibility with your subscribers. They didn't unsubscribe unlike me. But people see you differently now and that's because you screwed up badly, not because we're all wrong.
.
.
Your opinion just lost a lot of weight with a lot of people because it was so hyperbolic. This isn't because you righteously stood up for an unpopular opinion that your audience disagrees with. You could have expressed the proposition that this was a moral or ethical lapse and a mistake and you would not have seen this response. So, it's not just the audience disagrees with you when you believe it was a mistake. It's because you exaggerated the importance of it and claimed that because of this President Biden "destroyed" his "legacy". That's such a wild distortion that it makes it hard to take you seriously. Again, if you had simply said you disagreed with what he did and thought he was wrong, people here would disagree with you, but you wouldn't have had this response. The overwrought nature of your hysteria is why people have reacted like this.

Dial down the outrage to an appropriate level like 1 or even 0. In the scheme of what we are facing even before Donald Trump has taken office, this hardly merits a podcast whether you agree or disagree. So, tell people that you put some thought into it and tried to retain some perspective and while you still disagree with it, are sorry for overreacting to it. Do that and you probably retain credibility with your subscribers. Or don't, but know that your credibility has taken a hit even though they didn't unsubscribe.
