Some good news to report. The small town of Enid, OK recalled a neo-Nazi City Commissioner by the name of Judd Blevins. After he was elected as to the Enid City Council in 2023, Blevins’ despicable past caught up with him. Blevins attented the infamous 2017 “Unite the Right” Rally in Charlottesville, VA, and there is a photo of him at “Jews will not replace us!” gathering. A small group called the Enid Social Justice Committee was the driver behind the recall vote, and Blevins was ousted by 20 percentage votes.
First, some background on Blevins:
More than a month before Blevins was elected in February 2023, the local newspaper highlighted a 2019 report by Right Wing Watch, a left-leaning organization that monitors far-right extremism. The report identified Blevins as the Oklahoma recruiter for Identity Evropa, a group that has since disbanded and was described as a White supremacist organization by the Anti-Defamation League…
In 2019, the left-leaning group Unicorn Riot leaked thousands of messages from people involved in the Charlottesville rallies on the chat platform Discord. Among the threads was a user who went by the pseudonym “Conway – OK.” Right Wing Watch later identified the writer as Blevins…
In one message less than a month before the 2017 rallies, Conway wrote positively about Adolf Hitler, saying, “Hitler never would have allowed this sh*t.” Conway also wrote a derogatory statement about a Jewish woman. The contexts of the posts are unclear.
And in one message less than two weeks before the Charlottesville rally, Conway wrote: “I JUST CANT FEEL SAFE IF IM NOT PACKING AN AR WITH A 100 ROUND DRUM AND SPORTING MY SWASTIKA ARMBAND.”
Blevins tried to deny that he was Conway-OK. And he continued to claim that he was a different man from the guy he was back in 2017. Blevin does admit that he was there at Charlottesville, VA (He had to because the women who run Enid Social Justice Committee had a photo of Mr. Neo-Nazi BLOWN UP FOR ALL TO SEE!).
And when asked at a community forum for the recall, this is what shithead had to say:
Blevins acknowledged at a community forum last week that he marched in the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017. He also admitted being connected to the now-defunct white supremacist group Identity Evropa.
When asked at the forum to explain his involvement in the rally and his ties to Identity Evropa, he responded: “Bringing attention to the same issues that got Donald Trump elected in 2016: securing America’s borders, reforming our legal immigration system and, quite frankly, pushing back on this anti-white hatred that is so common in media entertainment.”
“Anti-white hatred.” I’m not racist. It’s all you other mofos who are racist against me for being white!
Changed man my ass.
And if you are wondering, Enid, OK is in a county where the Democrats can meet in an old telephone booth (Republican to Democrat ratio is 4:1). Blevins was replaced by another Republican by the name of Patterson. In fact, the entire leadership of Enid is Republican.
Sadly even with all this information, 40% of the voters still supported the neo-Nazi.
But I will take what little bit of good news I can for now.
