So it Begins…. Find Out Time!
In less than two weeks, the first criminal trial of Donald J Trump will begin. I am fairly certain that he will be convicted because this is an indicted backed up by not only witnesses but with documentation. You can even say this is a documents trial. You know how they say that it’s not necessarily the crime that gets you, but the cover-up. Well, this was essentially a cover-up of the pay off to Stormy Daniels to interfere in the 2016 election.
As an aside, I am very happy that the judge strengthened the gag order on Trump. When gag orders are issued, he (or someone on his team) looks for a way around them. Well, it looks like that “loop hole” was closed by Judge Merchan on Monday evening. Of course Trump is whining that it “interferes with his campaigning” which it definitely does not. He can talk ALL he wants about Biden and running for president, but he does not have the right to intimidate witnesses or family members of the judge. What the heck does that have to do with running for president? Nothing.
I hope there are consequences in the future for Laura Loomer, the RW Trumpie, who took a manipulated, old, abandoned Twitter account of the judge’s daughter to make it look like she was saying bad things about Trump (I thought he was all for free speech, huh?). That’s the reason Trump viciously (and maniacally) attacked her on Truth Social in post after post.
Gagging him and then making him face consequences is needed in many people’s opinions to send a signal that this intimidation will no longer be tolerated and demonstrate that the court will protect witnesses as well.
Hopefully by the end of this month, the SCOTUS arguments on the “magical” immunity will be done and the Court decides quickly to shoot it down. Many people are ticked off that they took the case, but I think they did so to put this total immunity BS to bed for good. If they had just remanded this back to the DC Court, their decision would apply only to the J6 case (in my understanding … I could be wrong). SCOTUS ruling on this will mean it applies to all of these Trump cases.
I just hope they make the right decision… and QUICKLY.
Other News
So now on to other news I have found as I write this (on Tuesday afternoon).
I predict the DJT stock (Truth Social) will be a worthless penny stock by the end of 6 months.
This is not surprising at all… since they’ve been railing against it since the 2016 election. MAGA doesn’t trust it and it’s their own fault.
He’s at it again… talking about what a mess this country is and it will be cease to exist if we don’t elect him. No, TRUMPIE, it will cease to exist if we do put you back in.
LOL! Petey doesn’t like jail…. tough luck, buddy.
Luckily, the Florida Supreme Court has allowed a ballot measure in November on abortion access. I believe this draconian ban will drive out voters en masse. Perhaps we can pick up a Senate seat here.
