We have two completely bogus products from Sherum to look at today, the Sherum Track Pro 2.0 and the Hilipert Geekran SugarReg Bangle, being sold on Amazon, eBay, and elsewhere. The FDA warns that there are many more brands of such snake-oil products.
These smartwatches and smart rings are manufactured by dozens of companies and sold under multiple brand names. This safety communication applies to any smartwatch or smart ring that claims to measure blood glucose without piercing the skin, regardless of manufacturer or brand.
The FDA routinely monitors the medical device market and became aware of unauthorized products being marketed to consumers. The agency is working to ensure that manufacturers, distributors, and sellers do not illegally market unauthorized smartwatches or smart rings that claim to measure blood glucose levels. Additionally, the FDA is alerting consumers about this issue and making the public aware that smartwatches and smart rings should not be used to measure blood glucose levels.
The FDA will keep the public informed if significant new information becomes available.
Do Not Use Smartwatches or Smart Rings to Measure Blood Glucose Levels: FDA Safety Communication
Be aware that the safety and effectiveness of these devices have not been reviewed by FDA, and the use of these devices could result in inaccurate measurements of blood glucose levels.

That specifically includes these two, which are not FDA-approved, and show no evidence of any clinical testing, among other scamminess.
Sherum Diabetes Watch
Our Smartwatch was engineered with the latest Glucose Monitor Chip that will be able to track plus record your glucose level within your body throughout the day.
Paired with our well built app, all you have to do is to open it and our app will show you everything you need in graphs or charts so that you can manage your very own glucose level whenever you need it.
The watch is equipped with sensors that are made of infrared LEDs and photodiodes, that illuminates the blood vessels on your wrist while measuring the amount of light reflected back. The advanced algorithms of our smartwatch then calculate the color and proceed to give you a report of your health.
I was in a clinical trial of such a device decades ago. Nothing came of it. There are no such legitimate products.

The Sugar Regulator Bangle features two types of technology: negative ion and far infrared technology. Both of these technologies work together to help regulate blood sugar levels in the body.
Far infrared technology is another key feature of the Sugar Regulator Bangle. Far infrared rays are a type of electromagnetic radiation that is emitted by the sun and other natural sources. They have been shown to penetrate deep into the body and stimulate the production of nitric oxide, a compound that helps to relax blood vessels and improve blood flow. When the Sugar Regulator Bangle is worn on the wrist, the far infrared rays penetrate the skin and are absorbed by the body. This helps to stimulate the production of nitric oxide, which can lead to improved blood flow and lower blood sugar levels.

Nitric oxide (NO) does increase blood flow, for example in sexual arousal, where it has several very localized effects.
In mammals, including humans, nitric oxide is a signaling molecule in many physiological and pathological processes.[7] It was proclaimed the "Molecule of the Year" in 1992.[8] The 1998 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded for discovering nitric oxide's role as a cardiovascular signalling molecule.[9]
Nitric oxide is highly reactive (having a lifetime of a few seconds), yet diffuses freely across membranes. These attributes make nitric oxide ideal for a transient paracrine (between adjacent cells) and autocrine (within a single cell) signaling molecule.
If NO could travel in the bloodstream, I would want something like this on my ankles or in socks, to increase circulation in my toes, but no.
Needle-Free & Pain-Free, How Is This New Wearable Device Revolutionizing Blood Sugar Monitoring In The US
Did you know there's a new watch-sized glucose monitor that checks blood sugar pain-free within seconds? It's going viral quickly and selling out everywhere. Find out why...
FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS, THE GLUCOSE MONITOR INDUSTRY HAD JUST 3 BIG COMPANIES THAT COULD SET ANY PRICES THEY WANTED AND KEPT RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS.
A genius startup is turning this $145 billion dollar glucose monitor industry on its head.
The company called Sherum has figured out a way to offer a far superior smartwatch that makes blood sugar testing 100% pain-free, and will leave the entire glucose monitor industry in the dust (even the biggest tech experts agree).
Meet the Sherum TrackPro 2.0.
It was initially led by a group of experienced glucose monitor professors, who joined forces with a team of watch designers to create the new Sherum TrackPro 2.0.
This technology was previously only available in costly medical equipment, and the creator of Sherum TrackPro 2.0 made it now accessible in a convenient wearable form. Eliminates the need for painful finger pricks while ensuring efficient and reliable results.
This is why the Sherum TrackPro 2.0 has become the most sought-after device of 2024.
As you probably know, those large chains have relationships with big name brands that flood the aisles with inferior products.
While the makers of TrackPro chose to sell it directly to consumers, skipping the high costs that come with middlemen.
The icing on the cake is that, it's now offering an exclusive discount, and you can get your TrackPro for only $59.99, all thanks to their limited 50% OFF!

If any of you, or someone you know, has one of these, I would like to hear how well it tracks with fingersticks or a legitimate CGM.
Personal Notes
I am almost completely off my previous diabetes medications except for when my wife wants to offer me something with lots of carbs, such as birthday cake with ice cream. Then I can have an insulin shot. My problem now is frequent hypoglycemic attacks, 50 in the last three months tracked by the Abbott app, but increasing to 11 in the past week.
My next task is then to catch falling glucose numbers well before I have physical symptoms, and only eat enough carbs to bring me up to about 90 without overshooting.
I have no idea what’s going on there. My doctor doesn’t know. I’m looking around medical sites for any similar cases, but I haven’t found any yet. I’ve had to ease up on the foods that are supposed to lower blood glucose, including green tea and nopalitos, and stash glucose tablets in three places around the house plus the car.
