A dozen lost for Trump in Texas

As a Texan, I have instructed my employees that politics is off limits at work. As a volunteer manger, that does not apply to me.

I am not certain how many of my employees favored Trump in the past but with Project 2025’s affect on their payroll and my using my ability to inform them of the ramifications of the project, I guarantee that my employees, and their spouses, wont be voting Republican this year.

I have six employees working under two medicaid funded programs plus VA funding which supports $500/wk towards employee wages.

Project 2025 would eliminate the VA funding altogether. The VA funded work schedule did not exist until Biden modified the rules concerning those funds and Project 2025 specifically states that the new rule would be eliminated which will require me to eliminate one of the six positions.

The three Medicaid funded programs my employees work under would also be eliminated with the end of Medicaid under Project 2025.

I have informed my employees about the consequences of electing Trump or any other Republican. They now see why electing Republicans is detrimental to their livelihoods

That makes a dozen people within my sphere of influence who will not vote for Trump or any other Republican.
