I Am Shocked, and greatly saddened by the tragic events that unfolded yesterday in PA. After careful thought and introspection, many of us who stand against Trump have regained our composure. The slew of instantaneous accusations and blatant violent rhetoric coming from the extremist right demonstrates, once again, that “composure” was an attribute they have never possessed. These knee-jerk reactions are far lower than “deplorable”.
At this point I will only say this…
All of us, absolutely all of us should totally denounce violence of any kind, and especially political violence like this. The sad truth is that Trump himself and so very many extremists on the hard right do not. That has been proven time and time again. On J6, with the heinous attack on Paul Pelosi, and with Uvalde.
I believe that truth will out on the motives behind this attack, and the reason this happened. For now, we know that there was a tremendous failing on the part of the secret service, and that the shooter
was a registered Republican, little more than a child who had been bullied in school.
There are still many unanswered questions, but once again we’re seeing an incredible call to violence and outlandish accusations from right-wing extremists, and MAGA legislators. I use TikTok, and to see these statements blatantly expressed on a public forum is terrifying.
Although I stand totally opposed to Trump, his poisonous rhetoric and his hateful project 2025 agenda, I am glad he’s ok, and I will patiently await the truth of this atrocity to unfold.
I will present three more tragic and truthful comments.
1. Trump has incited violence many times. Now he himself has tasted the bitter fruit that results when you sow bad seeds. What happened yesterday was not the result of democratic “rhetoric” or activism. It was the result of a heightened endorsement of a culture of violence, bolstered by Trump himself. A culture which seeks to promote the idea that resolution of differences is best addressed by violent actions.
2. Extremists on the hard right won’t wait for the truth of this matter to come out, or for any investigation to conclude. Their minds are already made up and nothing will change them. Trump pumping his fist in the air and repeating “fight” multiple times is just another call to violence. This only perpetuates the endless circle of insane behavior that has plagued our nation for far too long. Far right extremists will act on what they saw yesterday.
Immediately TRIPLE the security surrounding President Biden.
3. The loss of innocent life should not be understated. How many more innocents will die because of this American atrocity? Jesus was a pacifist, so am I.
Please, reserve your comments about this being “staged” until more is known. They will be used against our cause, and none of us know with certainty what motivated this attack. Today, this unconscionable act does not change the reality of our situation, and it does not impact our upcoming election in the least. Although it very well may.

I believe TRUTH will OUT in this matter. Get to the bottom of the motives behind this attack President Biden. Leave absolutely no stone unturned in your investigation. The American People, ALL of them, deserve nothing less.
