You know the old saying that voters wake up after Labor Day?
Well, they're awake now.
You know the "I don't like either of them; I wish there was another choice" voters?
Merry Christmas!
Republicans want to run on fear and anger.
But they DON'T want the fear and anger turned on THEM. Tough sh*t, Republicans, you want fear?, here's Project 2025. You want anger?, meet Dobbs.
This election -- *every* election -- is about getting voters to the polls. Trump doesn't need to worry about turning out his voters. And, like it or not, Biden was having problems waking people up, let alone getting them excited.
They're awake now. AND they're excited.
Look. The people who aren't going to vote for her because she's female or Black or Asian WERE NEVER GONNA BE ON OUR SIDE ANYWAY.
We needed to wake people up.
And now, we have.
And people are excited. This is a historic election. This is a generational election. And generational elections always increase turn-out of young people.
And -- by huge numbers -- this batch of young people vote Blue.
Huge turn-out ALWAYS FAVORS DEMOCRATS.
But generational huge turn-out? We're in tsunami territory!
PLUS!!!!!, we have A FULL MONTH MORE where people are awake and engaged.
ELECTION SEASON IS A FULL MONTH LONGER THAN ANY ELECTION IN OUR LIFETIMES!
A full month more for Kamala to introduce herself. A full month more of waking up women, waking up Blacks, waking up young people, and showing them that this election isn't just about how bad it will be if Trump turns America into Germany in 1939.
But, hope, and change, and diversity, and acceptance, and love! Yes, love! Or, at least, the concept of repercussion-free sex. Sex! Sex on your terms is on the ballot! A month more of talking about the things that matter to Americans.
And Trump has a full month longer to talk about the late great Hannibal Lecter and try to speak in cohesive sentences. Good luck with that, Donnie-O!
