If the name Eagleton doesn’t ring a bell, don’t fret. It’s been over 50 years since he was a household name, personifying political suicide.  He was McGovern’s VP on the ‘72 ticket, briefly. McGovern dumped him 19 days after the convention.

At this writing, Sofa King Hillbilly has made it to half an Eagleton.

I think we should start a pool and see what kind of over/under action we can get betting on whether  SKH breaks Eagleton’s record or not.  We could spice it up and offer some side action on whether he also breaks Scaramucci’s 11 day streak.
