The Purpose of this group is threefold:
- Organizing — sharing info on rallies, voter registration and GOTV
- Raising money for the Harris campaign
- Having FUN!
To join this group, leave a comment below. A DKos e-mail headed “do not reply” will come to you with your invitation.
If you want to post diaries for the group, let me know in the comments. Once you are a member, I will make you an Editor so that you can post at will.
There will be no regular schedule of diaries. We feel that we don’t herd cats — and we won’t herd cat people, either. Or dog people! Let it flow. And may the diaries be frequent! There’s an election to win, after all.
Be sure to follow the group, whether you are a member or not! Go to the Cat Ladies for Kamala to follow. That way, all the group’s diaries will be in your stream and you won’t miss any.
With that said, how about we introduce ourselves and our pets if we have any?
My name is Sara. I am 67 and I live with my sister, Ann, and two cats in Portland, OR. I am a lifelong progressive and I am so excited at the prospect of the Harris Presidency!
(You don’t have to give your name if you don’t want to.)
This is our cat, Pearl:
And this is Ruby:
I thank everybody for being here! I am so excited about all the positive energy by and for Kamala Harris and so look forward to seeing her in the White House!
BTW, ericlewis0 reminds me that there is a Zoom call coming up on Tuesday, National Organizing Call w/ Vice President Harris. It’s from 7:15 – 8pm EDT and all are welcome.
I promised dancing (I’ve been in an electro swing mood lately):
From Quarter Incher:
If we have any catless ladies or gents interested in becoming a true cat lady/cat gent there’s a lovely best friend needing a new home. This is ELECTRA, an 8 yr. old Turkish Van.
Electra's dad, DKos member jrfrog recently passed away and his sister is asking us to help find her a new home.
He adopted her as a kitten and he loved and adored her very much. It was just the two of them, so she has always been an only cat. She is in San Luis Obispo, CA. If you know of anyone who might be able to give her a home, or to get more details, please e-mail her dad's sister at detaylor@cabrillo.edu
