Yes, we really are pissing Republicans off here at Daily Kos and I have proof of it. First let me say that I am never happier then when I am pissing people off, so I am delighted.
Leave it to the Republicans to think recycling is a bad thing. These two authors, Peter Schorsch and A.G. Gancarski, have their ears to the ground in Florida and Florida is Republican so of course their sources are too. They are the most gifted Republican whisperers and Peter Schorsch is one of ours, a member of Daily Kos!
While they accuse us of recycling, this “old news” is stuff we got from them, which is why I think they’re pissed. We’re using their own shit against them. It’s really not old news either. Kim Daniels currently represents HD14, the district the Republicans drew especially for her. She has made no statement that she has changed her views on anything, as far as I know she still believes that “You can talk about the Holocaust, but Jews own everything!”
She has been written about over and over again here at DK, since at least 2018. Not much has changed about Kim Daniels, except maybe her title, she now goes by Apostle Kim Daniels. (whatever)
I wasn’t sure what the Jacksonville Bold was, so I googled it. What came up was Florida Politics, ok, one and the same. So, I checked out what they had to say about this race in Fl HD 14, and races are sadly, judged by how much money they bring in.
Daniels has more than $21,000 on hand, which isn’t much, but it gives her a definite cash advantage over opponent Therese Wakefield-Gamble, who raised more than $4,800 over the two weeks ending June 28 but had under $4,000 on hand at the end of that period.
A caveat, though. Just four of the 145 contributions she’s gotten this cycle come from Jacksonville itself, with money coming from all over the country for the candidate.

The bolding of the last paragraph is mine. LOL! They are warning folks that Therese Gamble’s money comes from all over the country. In their minds that’s worse than Kim Daniels? Whose money comes from Republicans? I think it’s funny because I tell candidates that I write for to watch their Act Blue account, they will know the Daily Kos donations because they will indeed come from “all over the country”.
It’s been my experience that Daily Kos doesn’t tolerate antisemitism, or Democrats who are bought and paid for by the Republican Party.
The August 20th primary in Florida is like a special election, there are no Republicans in this race, they don’t run one. Why should they? They have Kim Daniels. This is one of those districts where the primary IS the general.
People will be using this primary as a preview of what’s to come. Good! Let’s have the Dems on the offense and the Repubs on the defense. So, whatever your motive; you want to help a Democrat win, or you want to piss the Republicans off, please donate. Small or large, the limit per person is $1,000.
