TIMING MATTERS: Putin knows Trump is going to lose

Make no mistake, the prisoner exchange three months before the election is most importantly a sign that Putin now believes Trump is going to lose.  He could have waited until Trump took office to reward his friend, but instead he is trying to engender goodwill with the next administration.  They see the writing on the wall and will likely reduce or eliminate their election interference. God willing in a few months we will be done with the orange menace and once again advancing democracy around the globe.
