A mailer today let me know that Harris is DANGEROUS!

I live in Mt. Lebanon, PA, a township of 35,000 south of Pittsburgh. I got this mailer today warning me that Kamala Harris isn’t just liberal...she’s DANGEROUS! 

I was happy to get this mailer. Because it’s hilariously lame. And because I know that it will have zero impact in changing anyone’s mind, it’s a wonderful waste of right wing money. 

It also tells us something useful—Republicans know that one of Trump’s weakest points against Harris is his criminal past and her career as a prosecutor. The Prosecutor/Felon frame is a powerful one, and they want to weaken it. But if this is their best attempt at doing so, they fell short by several miles. Sure, there will be a handful of people on my street that will agree with it, but it won’t sway a single independent voter here, and all the Dems will simply laugh (like I did). 

I can’t wait for the Harris/Walz media team to finally come out with their Don the Con ads. I’m sure they’re saving those up for the home stretch so they’ll have a dampening effect on GOP turnout. I feel better about our chances in November every day!
