It's always projection with these guys. I had seen the photo of JD in a wig, makeup, and a dress, but wasn't sure it was real. (You need to click on the image to see the full ensemble). Yet PoliticalWire linked to the source of the photo, who attended Yale at the same time as Vance and got it from a classmate. The DailyBeast also reached out to Vance’s spokesperson, who did not deny its authenticity.

Those eyes. Maybe he was born with it. Maybe it really was Maybelline.

Vance has been one of the most vile Republicans bashing the LGBTQ+ community. I would love to see how MAGA spins this. This is the last thing his candidacy needs right now, and I wouldn’t want to be a ketchup bottle at Mar-a-Lago tonight.

If J.D. wants to put on makeup and wear a dress, I say let him. There’s nothing wrong with that. But it’s going to be a hard sell when he tries to say that other men who do the same are somehow a threat.
