Good morning! Today is the eleventh Wednesday that Donald Trump has been a convicted felon.

And why not start the countdown to his sentencing date, too, while we’re at it? That’s currently scheduled for September 18. Including today, it’s 35 days until his sentencing date. It’ll be my pleasure to count down toward that!

It’s that mid-week time of… uh… week… when Greg Dworkin rejoins us in our march through the election season craziness. No, most Americans aren’t paying attention yet. But the economy is actually good enough for them to consider paying, so that’s nice.

The Gop ticket hasn’t figured out any way to shake The Weird yet, and it doesn’t look like it ever will. So if you were wondering how much longer that could go on, well, there’s no end in sight.

Fantastic and fun fodder for us, though. No complaints here!

I’m OK if there’s no substance for now, and at least until they close the pools.
