Those of you who are political volunteers—what motivates you?

Hi all! Over the past few years, I’ve been increasingly disenchanted with the state of online advocacy and the way online tools have been more extractive, trying to get people to give up their money, as opposed to genuinely enabling offline activism. 

That’s why I’m excited that a group of political friends of mine are working to fill that gap in the progressive ecosystem. They are currently looking for people who could share their perspectives about why they volunteer politically, what issues they care most about, and how they feel heard inside organizations. The goal is to help national organizations and philanthropists better support the millions of you who have time and energy to devote to making this a better country, but don’t always know the most effective ways to engage.
