Donald reminds one of the pain-in-the-ass retail complainants who menace customer service counters. Or high-pressure sales techniques meant to close quickly.
“If for any reason Kamala is unwilling or unable to debate on that date, I have agreed with Fox to do a major Town Hall on the same September 4th evening,” wrote the Republican nominee, in a since-deleted post on his Truth Social platform.

Using a nonsense lawsuit against Stephanopoulos to modify terms, perhaps the Harris campaign should now sue Fox News, because… something, something.
How about a compromise using NPR or C-Span? How is it that Trump gets to dictate the terms? There has been of this writing, no comment from the Harris campaign agreeing to any of this.
He pulled this trick after he agreed to the disastrous Biden debate by trying to change the September debate terms. This time he can get the town hall format anyway and could claim that there was something, something.
Maybe Harris's response should simply be: "I'll agree to the Sept 4th debate if Trump keeps his word on the Sept 10th debate". Or a pie-eating contest as the rubber match, this time at ESPN, on Halloween Night.
He wanted a Town Hall format stage regardless so he can loom and menace as he did in 2016 to Hillary Clinton.
In fact it might be better to have no POTUS debates at all.
Actually since the opponents have changed, just do a reset, since Trump was happy with CNN’s Tapper & Bash and do it again at CNN with no audience and a mute switch. He’s going to complain, regardless. ‘Man Up’, you whiner.
The VPOTUS debate is sure to be equally pathetic, maybe with A FULL ARENA AUDIENCE. (because ticket sales, a cage, and maybe ladders)
ABC News originally planned to host the second debate between President Biden and Donald Trump on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time
