Last night Donald Trump showed he had no grasp on reality by:
1. Spreading racist conspiracy theories about people eating cats and dogs in a small Ohio town.
2. Couldn't defend his own racist attacks on Kamala Harris' race.
3. Claiming that Joe Biden wasn't still the President.
4. Claiming he won the 2020 election.
5. Said he had a secret plan to solve health care costs in America. But could provide no details on such a plan when he was repeatedly asked about it.
6. Responded to a question about Israel by ranting about Vladimir Putin and saying "Putin never would've went into Ukraine were if I was President."
7. Wouldn't commit to continuing US Military aid to Ukraine.
8. Responded to a question about the January 6 riot by blaming Nancy Pelosi for not sending in the national guard. In what may only be news to him, the DC National Guard is commanded by the President of the United States, who refused to send them in despite specific requests from Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi (yes there's video of that).
And there was so much more in a truly historically bad debate performance. After the last debate, when Joe Biden appeared to not understand the questions being asked, the media hammered him for a month, finally driving the best and most effective President of our lifetimes from the race. They said he was too old to be President. And that he just couldn't grasp what was needed.
Well how are they responding this morning? By claiming Kamala Harris, who despite being talked over and interrupted ad naseum, provided details on her plan to foster an entrepreneurship economy and make health care more affordable for Americans, didn't provide enough "details" and that Trump was just Trump. Watch this utterly pathetic CNBC segment to see the Media's pro-Trump bias on full display. Or the New York Times ignoring the cat eating insanity in its headlines and instead running an article entitled "We fact checked both sides claims" Or MSNBC whose headline assures us that "Harris Won the Debate, But Come Election Day That May Not Matter"
Do they hand out MAGA hats in the green rooms of cable news channels and in the New York Times newsroom? Trump's performance was objectively worse than anything Biden didn't or wasn't able to say two months ago. Trump's performance showed us that he's likely to be an authoritarian dictator like his hero Viktor Orban. It showed us that his temper tantrums could get this country into long and protracted wars. And it showed us that a second Trump term is too dangerous for our country. Trump showed he is wholly unqualified to be President because he has no grasp on reality. If you ran headlines about Joe Biden not being up to the demands of the job and you're not running headlines now about Trump not having the temperament to successfully do the job, you're incredibly biased and putting your thumbs on the scale for the worst Presidential candidate of our lifetimes. But I guess that's what so-called reporters who dream of juicy but meaningless scoops from a leaky White House leading to huge book deals do.
