Hello friends!
I’m coming to you today by way of my iPad because Wednesday morning when I turned on my laptop it wouldn’t boot up. It would start then I’d get an error saying “inaccessible boot device” and it would go any further. Turns out the SSD went bad. I consider myself very lucky in that I found a computer repair shop that could look at it right way and also that they were able to extract the data (all my documents and photos). They said they could put in a new drive and reload all the data for me. Only going to set me back $150 which I felt was a more than fair price. If they had not been able to extract the data my only option to get it would have been to find a service that does forensic recovery which is expensive from what I understand. Looking forward to getting my machine back — maybe as early as tomorrow.
My mom is doing okay with her metformin. She is still trying to blame everything out of ordinary on it. Her most frequent complaint is that is makes her tired and in about 30-45 minutes after she takes it she can hardly keep her eyes open. Has anyone else experienced this side effect? If so, what did you do about it? I told her she may need to take a B complex vitamin. At any rate, her fasting glucose levels (the only time she tests) have fallen from the 190s to the 130-140 range. I told her the doctor may want her to start taking 1000mg daily instead of the 500mg she’s taking now. She goes back to see him in December. Anyway, large improvement over what it was. I’m so glad that she finally tried the metformin.
I’m so happy that Kamala cleaned tfg’s clock in the debate.
I hope everyone has a good weekend.
