If we get the best-case scenario in November — the House/Senate/Presidency trifecta — I say we aim high. The QOP and the media are going to complain about “overreach” no matter what, so we may as well earn it.
But first, a word from our sponsor!

Assuming the Democrats in the Senate are actual Democrats who are willing to nuke the filibuster, the first thing we should do is statehood for DC and (if they still want it) Puerto Rico.
Next up, Supreme Court reform. Expand the court, add term limits, or both.
Voting rights protections with teeth. Restore the Voting Rights Act. Make Election Day a national holiday. Automatic voter registration. Vote by mail for anyone who wants it. Illegally preventing an eligible citizen from voting should be met with prison time. Not fines: they’d just make that part of their campaign budget. Vote suppression is election fraud, and it should lead to prison.
Climate change, climate change, climate change. Green energy everywhere we can get it, whether it’s profitable or not.
After those are done, the rest can come in any order:
A federal privacy/bodily autonomy law that includes all reproductive decisions.
Commonsense gun control. The majority of Americans, including gun owners, want background checks, red flag laws, and an assault weapon ban.
Universal, single-payer health care.
Free college.
Real campaign finance reform. Get rid of all the dark money loopholes.
Progressive taxation. Get it back up to 1980’s or even 1950’s levels, and tax the hell out of capital gains.
Make the minimum wage a living wage.
End the drug war. Take the money that would have gone to further militarizing the police, and fund treatment programs instead.
An Equal Rights Amendment that includes gender, orientation, and identity.
Dump the Electoral College. This one will be tricky, because it requires a Constitutional amendment. My suggestion: offer statehood to any interested US territories: Guam, American Samoa, US Virgin Islands, and the Northern Marianas. When Republicans have a fit about how this unbalances the Electoral College (American Samoa has a population around 50,000, less than 10% of Wyoming), start hinting that we sure would hate it if they outwitted us by switching to the popular vote. With any luck, they’ll think it’s their idea.
And because none of this happens on its own, I’m sitting down to work on a stack of GOTV postcards. Volunteer, write, call, text, door-knock, and LEAVE IT ALL ON THE ROAD for the next 48 days!

From inkstainedwretch:
On Greg Dworkin's Abbreviated Pundits Roundup, Democrat in the South started a painfully powerful thread, that Emessbe punctuated with Facts and links to 5 sources about how (Liar, liar, pants on fire!) Pro-life jackals are KILLING women.
From belinda ridgewood:
Walter Einenkel posted a diary about a new Harris ad featuring Hadley Duvall, a courageous young incest survivor who spoke at the DNC this year. Lincoln green added an excellent comment telling more about Hadley Duvall, the person.
Highlighted by reklemrov:
When Sen. Kennedy (QOP-LA) made that awful comment telling a Muslim woman to “hide your head in a bag,” avsp had the perfect response.
