In Wisconsin this year, we’ve got Democrats in 97 out of the 99 Assembly races and all 16 of the Senate races. We support them all.
The GOP? Just 84 out of 99 and 11 out of 16.
Our Starting Lineup races are the closest. Wins would end the GOP Assembly majority and break the Senate supermajority. You can read about the full Starting Lineup here.
A farmer’s daughter, parent of 6, and mental health counselor, Sarah Keyeski believes in supporting causes bigger than herself.
Thanks to our fair maps, Senate District 14—which includes Columbia, Sauk, & Richland Counties, plus parts of Dane County—has dramatically changed from a deep-red district to a lean Democratic district, a perfect seat pick-up opportunity.
If we send Sarah Keyeski to the State Senate, we flip a seat and have an even better shot at protecting democracy for Wisconsin. Chip in here to help her campaign.
Sarah’s parents raised her and her four siblings on a dairy farm in Cashton, WI. Currently living in Lodi, Sarah has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for the past 24 years and is a mom to four boys and identical twin girls.
A few years ago, Sarah founded the community non-profit Lift Lodi. The organization has recruited more than 200 people annually to do a weekend of action to give back to the community.
Sarah is running to protect a woman’s right to choose, to be a civic role model for her kids, and help leave a better world for her children.
You can hear her inspiring story—and hear her knocking on doors—on the New York Times podcast The Run-Up.
Sarah’s campaign priorities include strengthening our public schools, protecting reproductive freedom, investing in rural communities, increasing access to affordable childcare, and passing legislation to bolster mental health care services.
Since 2021, Senate District 14 has been represented by incumbent Republican Joan Ballweg.
Fun Fact: Because the district was redrawn, Markesan resident Ballweg doesn’t currently live in the 14th anymore, so technically, this is an open seat.
Not-So-Fun Fact: If Joan Ballweg’s name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s one of the games-playing GOP members of the State Legislature holding up funds to keep rural Wisconsin hospitals open, clean up forever chemicals in our water, and continue other vital services Wisconsinites need.
Not-So-Fun Fact #2: Ballweg wants to take away your reproductive rights. Ballweg supported enforcing the 1849 abortion ban, blocked a bill to guarantee the right to contraception in Wisconsin, and introduced a bill giving unborn fetuses the same rights as people.
On November 5, voters from State Senate District 14 have a choice—between hardworking community leader Sarah Keyeski, or funds-blocking obstructionist abortion banner Joan Ballweg.
The choice is clear, and we need you to help Sarah win. Chip in here.
