Good morning! Today is the fifteenth Monday that Donald Trump has been a convicted felon.

And it’s was supposed to be just 9 days until his sentencing, too. But of course, I guess we don’t do criminal justice stuff in this country after Labor Day, or whatever.

Not sure why it’s OK for Republican governors to start kicking doors down in “election integrity” raids, but you can’t sentence an already convicted candidate in September.

They used to have a hash tag for that: #IOKIYAR.

Greg Dworkin will be by to bring us up to date on the weekend’s happenings. Though you were probably watching as closely as anyone.

Still, this is the place to tune in and really drill down into just how insane it is that the outcome of this race should ever be in doubt.

We’ll give you what the newspapers won’t. Which is amazing, because we’re reading those very same newspapers!

I guess what we really give you is what you hope the newspaper writers are saying to themselves, despite apparently not being allowed to write it.

People say it keeps them sane through the election cycle, for some reason.
