Accidental? Seriously?

A Ukrainian tank turns a Russian-occupied building into rubble.

A Ukrainian tank from the 28th Brigade near the Toretsk mine is using direct fire to destroy a building housing occupiers during a firefight. Although the Russians are unable to secure this stronghold, the situation remains difficult for the Defense Forces.

Gen. Syrskyy says that Russia has been forced to cut their ammunition usage in half in recent months.
x
Strikes on Russia have significantly impacted its army’s combat capabilities, says Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky. In just months, Russian artillery ammo consumption has nearly halved—from 40,000 rounds daily to much less.

Syrskyy also points out that Ukraine is working on its own air-defense system.

🇺🇦❗️We can't win a war on the defensive, - Syrsky
▪️Work is currently underway to create our own air defense system. "I hope that it will be no worse than Patriot."
▪️3-4 officers are involved in planning operations. This allowed us to keep it in secret.

Those oil depots are still burning.
Another drone attack in Russia in the same area where an oil depot was recently struck.
A cornucopia of North Korean stuff blowing up:
The Danish Defense Ministry has denied reports from yesterday that an F-16 instructor died in a Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih.
More drone-on-drone violence.
A Russian soldier walks through a total “fuckfest” after they were bombed.
An analysis that suggests China is stabbing Russia in the back — the longer the war goes on, the more economic opportunities fall into China’s lap.

Have you noticed an uptick in "expert analyses" on Russia remaining a strong economy able to wage its war for many years? A new insider report from VCHK-OGPU suggests it's part of Russian information warfare and provides even more details on what is going on inside the Kremlin regime. 1/9

In the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Putin tasked an informal group of loyal economists (Anton Siluanov, Maxim Oreshkin, Elvira Nabiullina, etc.) with managing economic and financial issues, as well as providing him with reports on real assessment of Russian economy.
Internationally, the Putin regime aimed at convincing Washington of Russia’s economic ability to sustain the war, thereby pushing for favourable agreements. This approach (demonstrating strength while masking vulnerabilities) has been relatively successful even with the Trump team last year.
But more recently - in addition to Russia's humiliation in Syria - the Chinese apparently leaked the objective assessment of Russian economy to the Americans - assessment that proved that Russian economy was increasingly and dramatically weakened by the war.
This led to the collapse of the Ukraine negotiations between the Trump team and Moscow in December 2024: Americans realised that the Kremlin was economically bluffing. And there was more to it.
The pro-Chinese faction within Russia actively undermined an agreement with the US - probably it was even the Russian pro-Chinese faction, rather than the Chinese, who leaked the objective economic data to the Trump team. Why leak the data and undermine the agreement?
The longer Russia continues its war, the more resources it depletes, the greater the long-term damage to its economy, and the more opportunities it creates for China to advance its geopolitical objectives. China will fight the US until the last Russian.
Is it better to be a camel or cannon fodder?
x
😳 Such occupiers are called "camels". Their main goal is to run as close as possible to our positions and leave ammunition, mines or a radio there for the assault groups to use later.
❗️The "camel" itself is disposable, so it is not even given a weapon.

Another 1,580 Russians who should have stayed home.
Eventually someone in Russia is gonna notice that a bunch of people are no longer there.
Another one bites the dust.
It used to be ironic when a radar unit was taken out by drones, but irony died a long time ago in this war.

💥Extremely valuable Russian radar Nebo-SVU destroyed in Kherson region, estimated cost of such radar system is about $100mln:
“1L119 Nebo-SVU radar station was attacked in Kherson region. The attack was carried out using 3 UAVs. The diesel power station DES ED3x30-T400-1RA1M6 was also destroyed.”

Russia has stolen hundreds of tons of Ukrainian grain since this war started and it doesn’t get much attention.
Time to withdraw if anyone is still there.

Velyka Novosilka
An update on the eastern side of Velyka Novosilka. These are not particularly new gains, but an update of the last few days. Velyka Novosilka is surrounded, with no real way out besides river crossing(s). It is unclear whether an AFU garrison is still present...
