Mamdani delivers!

When I listen to this brilliant young man, I can’t help but think about another young man who burst onto the scene in 2007, on a cold February day,  in Sprinfield, Illinois, and announced his candidacy for President of the United States of America.

I do not make Obama comparisons lightly, and I’ve only made a few ( Governor Wes Moore of Maryland, Governor Josh Shapiro of PA, DA Scott Colom of Mississippi-{my birth state}-who is running to defeat that awful Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith in 2026, come to mind. 

But Mamdani’s got “it.” The compelling story, the liberal bona fides, the “swag” (which cannot be defined, but you’ll know it when you see it), the fearlessness in speaking the truth to power, and the willingness to learn and change his views when new facts and truths warrant it.

He’s the whole package, New Yorkers.

And we all know it’s gonna get uglier the closer to the election it gets. With Andrew “I’m entitled to this because my last name says so” Cuomo being the last real opposition standing, and with Mayor “skin-folk not kin-folk” Adams selling out to drumpf and the Repub oligarchs, things get tougher for Zohran. However, nothing worth having comes easily. 

Mamdani can win this!! “YES. HE. CAN.” Just VOTE New Yorkers, especially in neighborhoods that have been neglected in service to the billionnaire class, and he WILL win. (And I’ll BET you cash money, the 92% are voting for him. Maybe listen to US this time!!)
