Graham Platner Of ME May Have A Great Way Of Dealing With MAGA Voters.

Here is a very short video of Graham Platner, a man running for Susan Collin’s Senate seat in ME.  It appears that he is at a local gathering taking questions from the audience, when someone who is MAGA asks a typical MAGA question, “What do we do about all these ILLEGALS?”

I bring this up because it’s possible that Platner may have a good media/political strategy for dealing with MAGA voters.  Platner is correct that our ridicule of MAGA — I personally think it is justified because MAGA voters are willfully ignorant — isn’t going to win us anything, except maybe showing we are fighters.  Hard core MAGA we are never going to reach with any rational debate.  It’s possible that maybe we can get a few MAGA voters though to see the light with Platner’s way of dealing with them.

Once again, I know hard core MAGA voters (my relatives), and there is no way in hell that Platner’s way of showing some empathy to their critical thinking skills being robbed will reach them.  My relatives have their prejudices, are selfish and greedy.  They were this way before MAGA ever officially came into being.

But what about other not so hard core MAGA voters?  Will Platner’s strategy work?  I really do not know.  I do know this though:  it will drive the legacy media crazy.

Think about it.  The legacy media loves to paint Democrats as sneering elites.  Or we get the bothersiderism treatment when we fight back against MAGA.  Platner is taking on the economic elites but showing empathy to MAGA voters who are angry.

It will be fun to watch the legacy media deal with Platner.
