And not a moment too soon, if you ask me. It’s one thing when Trump makes the news cycle crazy. It’s another when all that crazy news defies categorization. I prefer to discuss thematic craziness, rather than random insanity.

Today’s countdown numbers:

• It’s Day 15 of the shutdown. Sorry, we’re still closed!
• 1,193 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office
• 384 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
• 445 days—if we have those elections—until we seat that new Congress.

Our random country generator says, today’s an unlucky day for: Eritrea!

Well, that’s another unlikely target. Which is great for them! Although the whole area is likely on some kind of vague Trumpian sh*t list, just for being too close to where Ilhan Omar was born.

Ha ha! Oh, well. That’s Our Trump!™
