​Stop Complaining, Start Marching: Our Coast-to-Coast Plan to End the Chaos

It is really hard to figure out what we are supposed to do right now. There is so much Trump Chaos. 

Let’s take a deep breath. 

The government is shut down. The Dems are asking for the GOP to restore healthcare budget cuts. That really doesn’t seem like a big ask. We want to fix, NOT extend, healthcare to Americans who already have this benefit, but the GOP is taking the advantage away. It sure seems like we should be asking for more. 

Every week, the Dems should ask for one more thing. Whatever we ask for should be reasonable, thoughtful, and help the American people. 

1) Re-hire all Federal workers who have been laid off in the last 6 months with full back pay. 

2) Re-affirm all provisions of the Voting Rights Act. 

3) Resend the destructive, job-killing, economy-destroying tariffs.

4) Remove federal troops from all American cities. 

We need to organize and march. We need to protest. We need a new type of protection. This isn’t 1960. We must utilize all our tools to express our love for this country and our desire to guide it toward a more inclusive and democratic path. We need to March but not just on Washington. We need to March peacefully everywhere — New York, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Kansas City, Tucson, LA, Portland, and Honolulu from Sea to Shining Sea. The March must be from Coast to Coast. We need to make a statement online. The statement must be overwhelming. It must be on X, Facebook, Bluesky, Threads, and every other major platform.  

This is about applying pressure on Congress and the White House. 

This shouldn’t be a one-time affair, but sustained pressure to convince politicians that we are the majority. We embrace love and reject hate. United We Stand!
