As usual, Christo-Fascists like Karoline Leavitt tend to say the quiet shit out loud.
This isn’t a slip of the lip. This isn’t a faux pas, this is the core strategy of the GOP -to viciously demonize any of those who dare to disagree with them. They equate Democrats with “Killers”,”Terrorists” and “Hamas.” The most dangerous people they can imagine. And they argue that the people who will be going out tomorrow in the “No Kings” protest are more of the same.
She is trying to paint the entire Democratic party as Violent Terrorists who can be rounded up, imprisoned, or drone struck.
You think they only wanted migrants? Think again.
Don Lemon, with Wahjahat Ali and Jennifer Welch on all this:
MIke Johnson calls a CNN town hall with AOC and Bernie Sanders “Socialist.”
Mike also attacks Democrats for “inciting violence” with their rhetoric.
The threat of impending violence from the “rhetoric” is always there.
They consistently argue that Democrats “Hate America.”
Ted Cruz attacks George Soros and says that the “No Kings” rally will “turn into Riots.”
Here you have Scott Jennings arguing that Democrats are “standing up for criminals.”
Congressman Brandon Gill argues that the “No Kings” protests will be full of “Communists.”
This is coming from the Top Down. These people are reading from the Talking Points, and sending a consistent message.
Democrats aren’t Americans.
Democrats don’t care about Americans, they only wish to harm America, they support criminals, rapists, murderers and so-called ”illegals”.
They’re sub-human. They’re “Vermin” and “Scum” — and anything that you, or the government, chooses to do to them is justified and reasonable.
And don’t let them call you names.
What those so-called “Kids” promoted was genocidal racism. They “joked” about gas chambers, showers, rape and yelled “I love Hitler.”
Two weeks ago, JD was lecturing us on “violent rhetoric.” He was arguing that it was the criticism of Democrats against Charlie Kirk that got him killed. He was arguing that anybody who “joked” about Chaflie’s death should be reported to their boss and fired.
And now what is he saying?
Focus on the real issues, don’t focus on what kids say in group chat.
[...]
I’m gonna tell my kids, especially my boys, don’t put things on the internet. Be careful with what you post, You put something in group chat, assume that some scumbag is going to leak in an effort to try to cause you harm, or cause your family harm.
The reality is that kids do stupid things. Especially young boys. They tell edgy offensive jokes, that’s what kids do. And I really don’t want us to grow up in a country where a kid telling a stupid joke, even a very offensive stupid joke, is cause to ruin their lives.
We’re all going to have to say “enough of this B.S.” we’re not going to allow the worst moment in a 21-year-olds group chat to ruin a kids life for the rest of time. That’s just not ok.
We live in a digital world. This stuff is now etched in stone online. We have to say “No no no, we’re not doing this.” We’re not cancelling kids because they do something stupid in a group chat, and if I have to be the person that carries that message forward, I’m fine with it.
We what now?
That’s is not what he said about the “Kids” who celebrated the shooting of Charlie Kirk, is it? That’s also not what he said about the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel.
For the record, Vance made those comments while appearing on the Charlie Kirk Show. He and fhe hosts tried to play a little what-about-ism with a statement by a Democratic AG candidate who said that MAGAs seem so impervious to empathy that he’d wished she had to deal with harm coming to her own kids, so that she might understand how other people feel.
I’m sure none of us would actually want harm to her children, but the honest reality is — MAGAs typically won’t see the light of the damage they’re doing until it lands in their own backyard. The very definition of a MAGA is a short-sighted, selfish, myopic person with Empathy Deficit Disorder. They have no empathy for others, only themselves. He didn’t say he wanted them harmed for his own sadistic glee, he was sadly stating that it might be the only way his opponent would learn something.
Sorry, but that’s a fair point to make.
MAGAs then attacked Jennifer Welch for mentioning on CNN that Vance has mixed-race children. Let’s be clear, JD Vance rationalized, minimized and justified genocidal racism. He excused it, which in turn will help propagate and promote it.
The fact that he has a brown family only makes this even more disgusting, he wouldn’t even stand up to protect them. How in the world can anyone expect him to protect anyone else? Anyone except Charlie Kirk, that is.
George Packer from The Atlantic considered this private chat to be an example of the moral collapse of MAGA.
"To see only the varieties of bigotry with which we’re painfully familiar is to miss the depth of MAGA’s moral collapse. Professing love for Hitler is more than anti-Semitic—it’s antihuman. It’s a proud refusal to be bound by the most basic standard of goodness, a deliberate expression of contempt for everything decent. The texts degrade all of us," Packer writes.
This is because President Donald Trump and his administration have set the example, he argues.
"Cruelty and humiliation have become the Trump administration’s common currency," Packer explains. "With permission from President Donald Trump’s coarse rhetoric and vows of hatred, Elon Musk’s Nazi salute, Tucker Carlson’s flirtation with Holocaust denial, and Stephen Miller’s rage-filled threats, the young loyalists who wrote the texts were speaking the language of the people they admire most. Nor was it surprising when, the day after Politico revealed the texts’ existence, the image of an American flag altered into the shape of a swastika appeared on the cubicle wall behind a staffer in the Capitol Hill office of a MAGA congressman. In that culture, the rehabilitation of the man who stands for the worst in humanity was inevitable."
[...]
"The abandonment of a universal morality isn’t just philosophically wrong—it’s politically stupid. Any successful opposition to Trump has to begin with a lucid understanding of what’s at stake: not just past and present harms done to the marginalized, but everything that Americans once believed they cared about, including the values that were co-opted by the right before MAGA abandoned them—respect for law and custom, patriotism, family ties, common decency," Packer explains.
This loss is major, he explains.
"If the Young Republicans’ texts are seen merely as attacks on the groups they name, then they become the problem of Black and gay people, Jews, and women. But the texts represent a larger atrocity, one that has befallen all of America. Once you base moral judgments on group identity and political convenience, it becomes possible for people on the left to be anti-racist and anti-Semitic, and for people on the right to embrace Muslim haters in Israel and Jew haters in Germany," Packer writes.
"If moral values aren’t simple and universal—if they require a facility with the language of graduate seminars and single-issue activism—they won’t move the immobilized, alienated, numb Americans who still haven’t given up on their country’s promise. The dehumanization of any group dehumanizes everyone. There will never be an end to learning this lesson."
Yup.
And they really hate it when you call them “Nazis.”
The MAGAs are clearly pushing to ramp up their already existing attacks on migrants to full-on WAR against Democrats. They want to use the full power of the government to file RICO charges against George Soros, Indivisible and the DNC.
They’re just getting started with indicting Comey, Letitia James and John Bolton. They’re coming after Adam Schiff, AOC, Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer next.
Then they’re coming after the rest of us using the Justice Department and the Military.
There is no doubt.
Hakeem Jeffries responds to Leavitt.
Jeffries: Karoline Leavitt is a disgrace. Every time she opens his mouth it’s a lie.
More from Jeffries:

Jeffries: "You've got Leavitt, who's sick, she's out of control. I'm not sure if she's just demented, ignorant, a stone cold liar, or all of the above. But the notion that an official WH spokesperson would say that the D Party consists of 'terrorists, violent criminals & undocumented immigrants'..."

On a relevant point, the album I recorded 20 years ago with my old hard rock band GlITCHeD is re-releasing today on Spotify and iTunes. Many of the songs pretty much describe exactly the kind of social strife that we’re facing now with MAGAs. We didn’t have them specifically in mind at the time, but the analogy fits.
