Hello, fellow Wednesday fans! I mean the day, not the popular Netflix™ series. Although obviously, Wednesday fans would be welcome as well. The italics make all the difference.

Greg Dworkin will be on hand to celebrate. He was actually a big Wednesday fan back in the day. Meaning the day of the original The Addams Family show, and the original Wednesday Dance, which Wednesday has apparently updated.

That’ll give us a chance to climb out of yesterday’s Trinidad/FIFA/Cambridge Analytica/Trump rabbit hole, and get back to the very immediate and very horrible things Trump is doing today, and right now.

• It’s Day 22 of the shutdown. Sorry, we’re still closed!
• 1,186 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office
• 377 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
• 438 days—if we have those elections—until we seat that new Congress.

That’s what we’re telling Trump, anyway. He loves trucks!
