The A-7 Corsair II is a carrier-capable subsonic flight attack aircraft which was designed and manufactured by Ling-Temco-Vought (LTV) as a replacement for the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk. It first flew in 1965 and was adopted by the U.S. Navy in 1967.
This aircraft has a cruising speed of 454 mph, a top speed of 633 mph, a service ceiling of 33,500 feet, and a range of 3,044 miles. It can carry 15,000 pounds of mixed ordinance.
The Evergreen Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon has an A-7D Corsair II.
