About todays picture:

This is a shot of the Radiator Springs ride in California Adventure park, May 2014. We were there with another family and they were all going to share a car so I went over to this observation area to try to get picture of them as they went by. Right as their car got to where I was standing their side of the track broke down. The other car kept going. So now I’ve got plenty of time to get a great shot. This panorama is actually made of 7 separate shots all stitched together. I was really happy with how it came out, in fact I’m pretty sure I posted a copy of it here back then. It really showcases the amount of detail Disney goes into when building out a new ride.
