Trump’s 28-point sellout of Ukraine has been published in its entirety.
x
Trump’s 28-point proposal drawn up with Russia and without Ukrainian and European input is filled with non starters for Kyiv and Brussels: ceding Donbas as DMZ and recognition of it as Russian; reduction of Ukraine’s army; enshrining in constitution that Ukraine country won’t seek NATO membership….

The main points:
Recognizes Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk as Russian and freezes the lines along the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia fronts. Russia is to give up territory it controls outside of those five regions. Ukraine must withdraw from the rest of Donetsk.
Amnesty for war criminals.
Prohibits Ukraine from joining NATO and forbids any more NATO expansion.
The US offers unspecified security guarantees and demands compensation for it.
A package of development deals to rebuild Ukraine.
All sanctions on Russia to be lifted and US to cooperate with economic deals with Russia.
Ukraine agrees not to pursue nuclear weapons.
A committee to be set up to deal with remaining prisoners to be exchanged and reunifying families.
Zelenskyy says Ukraine faces either a loss of national dignity or losing the US as a partner.
x
Zelensky: Ukraine stands at one of the most difficult crossroads in its history, between dignity and the risk of losing a key partner.
“Either 28 difficult points, or the harshest winter and growing threats,” he said, adding that “life without freedom, dignity, and justice” is no life at all.

🇺🇦👀 We did not betray Ukraine then (February 24), we will not betray it now. I know that the people are with me, — Zelensky.
❗️The next week will be difficult. There will be a lot of pressure, political, informational, to break us up, — Zelensky.

And, of course, Trump threatens Ukraine once again.
x
"The United States has threatened to cut intelligence sharing and weapons supplies for Ukraine to press it into agreeing to the framework of a U.S.-brokered peace deal," sources tell Reuters. Presumably this includes blocking Europe-funded sales? www.reuters.com/world/europe...

Zelenskyy spoke with Vance today. What’s the over/under on how many times Vance either threatened him or was condescending?
x
❗️"Ukraine has always respected and continues to respect Trump's desire to end the bloodshed, and we view every realistic proposal positively," Zelenskyy said.
The President made this statement following a one-hour conversation with U.S. Vice President Vance and U.S. Secretary of the Army Driscoll.

The idea that Russia hasn’t seen the plan is laughable.
Trump sets a deadline of Thanksgiving Day.
x
Trump says next Thursday is the “appropriate time” for Ukraine to accept a peace deal. "Ukraine is losing territory, and Putin does not want to continue the war," he said.
He also claims new “very powerful” sanctions on Russia are coming, and added he will not lift current sanctions on Russian oil.

The plan already sounds like it was drafted in the Kremlin, even without translation issues.
x
No shock here: The Guardian notes several phrases in the U.S. peace proposal to Ukraine appear to be directly translated from Russian.
One standout is the line “It is expected that Russia will not invade neighboring countries,” a clunky English phrasing mirroring the Russian “ожидается.”

Even if Trump’s plan was even-handed, in a few years Russia would claim Ukraine had broken the agreement and invade again.
Ukraine continued to target air-defense systems in Crimea.
x
Prymary unit from Ukrainian Defense Intelligence burned down a Ka-26 helicopter&air defense systems in Russian-occupied Crimea
Their strikes hit:
- Ka-27 ship-based multifunctional helicopter;
- Lira-A10 airfield radar complex;
- Nebo-U &Nebo-SV radars
- "Terek" P-18 radar.

Maybe if they played “Roads to Moscow” by Al Stewart the missiles would turn around and fly to the Kremlin.

🚀🇺🇦 Air Force neutralizes 19 "Kinzhals", demonstrating a good sense of humor, - The Telegraph
The electronic warfare group "Nichna Varta" told the British that it changes the course of "Kinzhal", which are launched from MiG-31K, using the song "Our Father Bandera".

When the song sounds, "Lima" signal is activated, the missile sees that it is flying over Peru, begins to find its course and strays from the route that Russian war criminals prescribed for it.
Something — possibly a Russian shadow fleet oil tanker -- is on fire near Vladivostok.
x
Pretty sure the Vladivostok POV (43.1225, 131.8959) is from the top of a hill looking NW-NNW. Given how far away the next land mass is, whatever is burning may be up to 20 km away...
Anyways, given the size at that distance, I'm hesitant to believe just yet this is a ship.

The death toll from the Russian attack on Ternopil is now 31.
A happy moment from the Ternopil tragedy.
Russia also targeted Odesa.
Interceptor drones are becoming the go-to choice for downing Shaheds.
Another 1,050 Russians
Updates from Pokrovsk:
Russia’s strategy of advancing by using small groups of infiltrators sort of dictates that they attack all along the front line. Focusing on a single objective would require a concentration of armor and a subsequent loss of most of it.
Nonetheless, the infiltration strategy is slowly working and Ukraine will have to withdraw from Pokrovsk before long. Unfortunately for Russia, the infiltration strategy works well in urban areas where there are lots of destroyed buildings to hunker down in. It won’t work as well once Russia tries to move beyond Pokrovsk.
x
NEW: Russian forces are struggling to focus on a single decisive objective in the Pokrovsk direction and instead continue simultaneous attempts to close the encirclement of the wider Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad pocket while also attacking within both towns. 🧵 (1/7)

The new Leopard tanks appear to be missing something important — oh yeah, where’s the frayed wires, plywood shielding and netting?
Finally, since today’s RSBU is kind of bleak I wanted to end with some comic relief.
This video shows a Russian tank repair facility somewhere deep in the Urals where old tanks are being restored. This video was smuggled out of Russia at great risk by top secret operatives.
The armor is a bit thin and the main gun is rather tiny, but it gets great gas mileage.
