On Oct. 10, a young mother and U.S. citizen, Dayanne Figueroa, was violently dragged from her car by masked and heavily armed DHS agents after their vehicle slammed into her car as she was innocently driving down the street.
She was already in shock from having her car hit, and she had already called 911 to report the collision.
Figueroa had recently had kidney surgery, and she was reinjured after having been dragged from her car and tossed onto the street by these lawless thugs who then heavily pushed their knees over her body as she lay screaming on the ground and a crowd of onlookers shouted their disapproval and recorded the incident on their smartphones.
The agents zip-tied her hands behind her back, threw her into their unmarked van and then she was transported to multiple undisclosed locations, repeatedly denying contact with family, legal counsel or medical assistance; they left her damaged car sitting in the middle of the street blocking traffic with the keys still inside the ignition.
Her frantically searching family finally saw this video online, which was how they learned that Figueroa had been kidnapped. They were then able to trace her iPhone location to the ICE processing center in Broadview, IL.
After several hours, she was released without charges and her family was able to rush her to a hospital where she could finally get treatment for the injuries she received from the excessive force used on her during her abduction.
Of course, DHS later released a report stating that Figueroa had intentionally and aggressively driven her can into their van and then resisted arrest, injuring two DHS agents in the process – all ludicrous charges easily contradicted not only by copious video evidence, but also the nature of the damage to the two vehicles. This is consistent with virtually every report released by DHS or ICE, all of which egregiously try to shift the blame to their many victims.
If this had happened at any other moment in recent American history, it would have been front page news in every newspaper and the lead story on every TV station. But in Chicago during the reign of Donald Trump and his hordes of berserker goons and our neutered mainstream media, it’s just another goddamned day.
