BBC Ditches Disney+; New Plans for Doctor Who Next Year

Don’t get me started on the suits at Disney+ thinking that they could “Marvelize” Doctor Who. Don’t get that Weeping Angel above started either. Just rejoice at the news that the BBC and Disney+ will not renew their contract, and that Doctor Who will resume normal programming next year. No Christmas Special this year, though.

A new report into the end of Disney’s deal with the BBC for Doctor Who has alleged that part of the reason for its demise was that plans to "Marvel-ize" the franchise failed to work.
