…and that’s why they have to carry around guns, drive loud motorcycles, and beat up women.  Yes, what you suspected is, in fact, true.  It’s called Precarious Manhood Belief (PMB), the credo that manhood is hard to attain, easy to lose, and needs to be proven via public action.

Studies have shown that PMB correlates with voting for Trump.  Studies have also shown that Erectile Dysfunction correlates with PMB.

Using the transitive property, we can say that voting for Trump correlates with Erectile Dysfunction.  It’s a weak correlation, but it’s real.  And it allows one to hypothesize about the drivers of behavior.

Now we all know that correlation does not imply causation.  I’d be willing to bet that voting for Trump did NOT cause these people to go limp.  More likely the causal arrow goes the other way, limp dicks cause one to vote for Trump.  But my money would be on a third option, that some deep-seated perceived failing causes both.  

Wouldn’t that be a great social science project?  We could fix so many societal problems with one study!  Wait, NIH has been defunded.  Nevermind.
