I follow on youtube and facebook a woman named Monte Mader.
She was born and raised in the far right (she’s says “alt” but I think it’s too mainstream now to call it “alt’) Christian Nationalist home, went to and graduated from Liberty University and studied the Bible in Israel.
Monte was raised as an alt right Christian Nationalist under Republican politicians. She now uses her experiences in Christian fundamentalism, nationalism and theocratic politics to deconstruct religious dogma and white-washed American history. — her website
She left Christian nationalism and deconstructed the indoctrination she had marinated in all of her formative years. She is now a podcaster, content creator, musician (she has a band), author, and teacher. (a true renaissance woman)
Just the welcome image on her Bible Study page, I think helps allay fears that this is a rw Christian bait and switch
She teaches two Bible study classes a month. The classes are for everyone and they are about information, not conversion. If you’ve followed her for any period you know she delights in disabusing right wing Christians of errors regarding their thoughts on their faith, their faith, their interpretations, their actions, etc.
Monte challenges her “Coven of Curiosity” to ask questions, challenge dogma and rhetoric specifically when it’s weaponized towards others. — her website
Frankly I’d love to see her and John Fugelsang discussing these issues on a podcast or youtube broadcast. She, from a rw protestant background and someone who was raised Catholic (by a former nun and a former friar (religious brother)), a.k.a his parents. I think it would be very interesting.
She offers live streamed courses, recorded classes and recommended reading.
The TRUTH always stands up to scrutiny. — her website
She just posted a short on youtube about a question she got at the end of a recent Bible Study class. The question?
Given that Jesus was supposedly born of a virgin, overshadowed by the Holy Spirit with no exchange of genetic material, Jesus could have only inherited XX chromosomes, If we actually found his skeleton how can we recognize him as the perfect MAN given that he has female chromosomes?
Wait, what? Um . . .
Um . . .
Her mind is blown, my mind is blown .
I mean I realized long ago that the Biblical story of the creation of Eve was hog wash.
Everyone must have at least one X chromosome, no one exists without an X chromosome — but many people can exist and do exist without a Y chromosome.
Women are the building blocks, not men. Eve had to be the original not Adam. ← one of my deconstruction realizations
But this, whoa
It seems that again, right wing persecution of someone different from them has no religious backing . . . that won’t stop them . . . sadly . . . it’s their ego, their raison d'être.
<hr>
Yes, I did write the chromos, sounds like homos, on purpose.
Rainbow Jesus sticker can be found here.
