I’m writing this Tuesday night, while listening to christmas music.
I know more Epstein files were released yesterday so I doubt many people are going to read this.
Tomorrow is the winter solstice. Happy Solstice to any pagans out there.
What a crappy year this has been. I really hope all of us have a better year in 2026.
Hanukkah is being observed until Monday night. Happy Hanukkah. Did you know we had two Hanukkah’s this year? Yep, the last Hanukkah ended in January 2025 and here we are again. This happened last in 2013-2014 and won’t happen again until 3031 when it will completely skip a year.
Buzzfeed had an interesting piece about historical events that really messed up humanity. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky we’re no doubt living thru one more?
I’m going to trot out another video for you to watch I found compelling, with Joy Reid, Wajahat Ali and Don Lemon. I know some of you might feel I’m beating a dead horse but, hey, it’s my diary, don’t like it, volunteer to write one.

My neighbor problems continue- I finally got my lock changed on Monday, by Friday afternoon, I woke up from a nap to find a ribbon I had tied to keep something in place blocking the door to be untied and other indications they got in. My next door neighbor continues to play her music loudly into the wee hours, write ups being ignored. I know I’m not the only one annoyed, Wednesday night at 10 to midnight, somebody banged on her door and she turned it off for the night. 7pm Friday night and once again sharing the computer room with someone so I can’t watch a movie. I hate it when one of the residents sits behind me and texts while I’m online, I’m pretty sure someone doing that is the person who locked me out of my facebook account. Saturday- took a nap about 1230pm, woke up to find the door unlocked, thankfully the bottle of open water not tipped over and the rubber band I put on the lock still in place.
So ironic in a building that purports to be a place for women safe from threat. Yeah, right.
